GNP Essay

As I looked for the GNP for the countries in the Middle East, I thought how lucky I was. In The United States, the GNP Per Capita is about $45,000 (2009), compared to Egypt ($710). A big difference.
In the Middle East there is a big difference in power. You have Turkey with 1.01 Trillion for a GNP, then to Cyprus with 24 billion. There isn't a balance but there is a difference between each countries wealth.
The countries that I think that have the highest cost of living would be Turkey and U.A.E. I say this because their GNP Per Capita is larger than the other countries.
My findings illustrate a source of conflict by comparing the richer countries to the poorer ones. A source of conflict could be oil, a richer, smaller country could have knots with a larger, poorer country. This also can mean problems for the Western Countries because we get our oil from the Middle East.
